Hello! I’m Caleb Hoffman, originally from America, I have been living in the UK since 2010 so I now consider myself an honorary Brit! I currently live in Suffolk with my wife and three kids.

I began my woodcarving journey in 2019. Working in technology means I spend much of my time in front of a computer screen, so carving has become both a creative outlet and a way to reconnect with the satisfaction of making things by hand.

My main passion is carving little figures, anywhere between 2 and 6 inches tall in the Scandinavian ‘flat plane’ style. I have also carved marionette puppets which have been really enjoyable projects, however they tend to take a lot of time!

As far as materials are concerned, I use lime (or linden) wood as my main source of wood and acrylic paints for finishing.
